There is an image that it is difficult to change the performance and functions of existing equipment. How can you customize it to meet customer’s requirements?
-
Originally, we specialized in OEM design, but one day we were asked to do a special equipment design.
There, we made a huge mistake we still can’t forget. In the end, we used that experience as a source of inspiration and managed to acquire an ability to make proposals for next-generation equipment development. This project led to an increase in the number of special orders, and that is how we got to where we are today. -
I see. This was the time when people started considering purchasing semiconductor equipment and ancillary equipment separately for cost reasons.
-
That’s right. Looking back on it now, we think the lessons we learned from our mistakes have been a great asset to us.
We have been approached directly by manufacturers, and we are still constantly growing by listening to our end users. -
You have made such great strides that now you can make design proposals from scratch. What is your vision for the future?
-
We hope to increase the number of joint development projects with equipment and parts manufacturers and to make NYS presence known in the rapidly changing semiconductor industry.

Thank you.
